Some quotes of members of the local community
Barbara Bannar
Executive Director, Orange County Chamber of Commerce
“VLTv is a great asset to our area as they provide wonderful local interest broadcasts. Our rural areas generally get overlooked by the “big boys” unless there is a problem. It’s wonderful to have good news covered too!”
Lee Langston-Harrison
Executive Director, Museum of Culpeper History
“It gives me great pleasure to lend my support to Virginia Living TV, channel 16, Culpeper, via this written testimonial. The professionalism of the staff, the quality of the programming, and the great support the station gives back to the community all combine to create a terrific cable station -- one, frankly, that rivals the "big boys" in much larger venues.
My experience working with Tammy and Adam has been memorable, and I have enjoyed getting to know them as both professionals and friends. Culpeper and the surrounding counties are better for their presence, as well as for the work that Virginia Living TV does for the region.”
Richard L. “Lanny” Horton
Board Member, Culpeper Cable Commission
Director of Missions, Shiloh Baptist Association
Vice Chair, Culpeper County Ministerial Association
“It has been my privilege to work with Tammy Barboza and Virginia Living Television, Channel 16, suggesting programming that could be of interest to the community. She has been more than willing to listen and, in many instances, follow through on my suggestions. Our Association had a major event in July 2008, Impact Virginia. Tammy gave us wonderful coverage of the event and I have continued to get positive feedback on the program. The programming is very community oriented and interesting. She is an excellent interviewer, who asks the right questions. I count myself and our organization among the fans of Virginia Living Television.”
Gladys Williams
Site Coordinator, Culpeper Senior Center
“Channel 16 has done so much for our community. They’ve educated us about topics that very few of us were aware of. The love and care that you get when you deal with Tammy and Adam makes you feel so welcome that you want to keep trying to do more for your community. They make you feel so at-ease in front of the camera. Channel 16 has done so much for our senior citizens in getting more community support and donations that have helped immensely with their living conditions.”
Tony Edwards
Owner, Ledo Pizza of Culpeper
“My experience with VLTv has been nothing less than fantastic. I will advertise with VLTv continuously, as the community response has been very positive thanks to Adam and Tammy. Not only do I have people say they are trying us because of our commercial, but I have several people who say they came in because of your own personal recommendation, and I truly appreciate that.”
Jo English
Co-owner, Clore-English Funeral Home
