“Just Horsing Around in Virginia” explores the unique ways people--especially Virginians--use their horses, from fox hunting to polo, to Civil War reenactments.

“Just Horsing Around in Virginia” takes an in depth look at all the sports associated with horses, interviews the riders and trainers, and even looks at the history behind elements of different disciplines such as polo and dressage.

One episode explores the history of the horseshoe and discovers that not much has changed over hundreds of years in caring for horses’ hoofs. This show looks at every aspect of a horse from internal medical views to the working relationship between man and animal.
